Protection against break-ins
Electronic locks for hostels, hotels and offices meet the highest current security requirements. HSU models are designed to protect people and their property against forced getting into restricted areas, using available tools for opening a lock and misuse of official authority. In order to reach this goal, several technological solutions are used at the same time to strengthen each other:
- An open-door sensor. If a guest, a visitor or an employee has left the door half-open, the mechanism would play a sound. Thus, a burglar won't be able to take advantage of this situation to get into the room of a guest or the chief's office.
- A closed-door sensor and a double latch. It is impossible to open a locked door from the outside using any available tools such as a credit card, scissors, etc.
- Protection against copying. HSU electronic hotel locks use the Mifare standard. This means that information stored in the keycard stripe undergoes complex encryption. It is impossible just to copy data even if a keycard falls into the wrong hands, especially in case a burglar can use only the services of the closest workshop (in contrast to any mechanical analog).
- An option to limit the validity period for each particular keycard. Electronic hotel and office locks provide an opportunity to set particular time intervals within which several keycards are valid. For example, it is easy to set a restriction according to which a maid can enter a room only from 12 p. m. to 2 p. m.
- A freely moving handle. It is extremely difficult to lockpick or break a contactless keycard-access electronic lock for hotels and offices or even to damage it under excessive pressure.
- All door opening events are automatically logged. Besides, data on the used keycards to open the door remain in the memory of the locking mechanism. The same approach is used even for opening a door using an emergency mechanical key. Thus, there is no chance for employees to get into a room or any other restricted area without being noticed.
Contactless key in various forms
- A standard keycard. It can be easily put in a purse and almost any pocket. To keep a keycard always at hand, it can be complemented with a convenient neck strap fastener. Products of this type are general-purpose and perfect both for employees and guests.
- A bracelet with a hand strap made of soft silicone that can be securely fixed on the wrist of a guest or an employee. There are models for adults and children. Most of them have no clasp. Due to this fact, a key bracelet can be used for a longer time even in the harshest conditions. The case is dust- and water-proof. This makes it convenient to use for guests who take it to swimming pools, aqua parks, beaches, saunas, SPAs, etc.
- A pendant is a small-size and convenient accessory. It can be hung on a keychain, fastened in a purse, or simply put in a pocket. The flat case requires a little space. This is an excellent solution for office, hotel or hostel employees who constantly carry several keys to mechanical locks with them.
- A tag is the most compact form factor of a contactless key. The product usually looks like a thin circle with a diameter of 25-30 mm. There may be an adhesive layer on one side, due to which a tag can be easily fixed on any type of flat surface: a paper or plastic ID, a mobile phone case, etc. Such a key is a convenient solution for long-term use of a staff member.
All these features, in the combination with the complete power supply autonomy of HSU devices, make electronic office and hotel locks a truly reliable solution. In addition, they can be easily integrated with any access control system you are using and PMS software. As a result, electronic hotel lock keys can be used as a permanent ID.
