We present you the system of HSU online electronic locks running HTLock software.
The online hotel access control system is designed to solve the following issues that hotel managers and owners face.
- Controlling the use of rooms by guests and hotel staff with the help of real-time authorization monitoring. The report includes all authorizations with both keycards and smartphone electronic keys.
- Controlling passing through guest and service room doors in real time.
- Controlling the use of room energy consumption in real time.
- Preventing check-ins of guests with a staff card. If a staff card stays in the pocket of the energy-saving switch for a long time, this event can be seen in real time and in the report on unusual use of electric power.
- There is no need to install any additional software on computers, employees need only a browser for working. It is possible to use Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.
- The opportunity to install a server in the hotel makes it possible for such a business-sensitive system as electronic locks to become independent from the Internet.
- Issuing guest keycards directly from the PMS, the system of hotel management. Every PMS that has been tested with the independent ILMS-based system is supported.
- Remote monitoring of the state of the equipment, locks, and their battery charge level.
- Remote opening of each lock and switching it from the hotel to office mode (constantly open / constantly closed).
- The option to instantly link a guest with any lock for any period. For example, to enable passing through a sauna door or parking barrier for a particular guest.
- Guest authorization with a mobile device (the electronic key). The Bluetooth (BLE) technology does not use the Internet to open a lock. The key can be provided to a guest in advance and downloaded to a necessary device on the way to the hotel.
- Guest authorization by passcode for password locks.
- Access to the system from any part of the world using a browser without the need to install any applications on the computer.
As an electromechanical part for HSU online locks, components of the offline HSU hotel lock system which have been proven by time and numerous installations are used. In this regard, it is possible to upgrade the system of offline hotel locks controlled by ILMS to the online version.
The system contains the following key elements
Electronic online locks. They work with classic Mifare cards, a passcode (for password locks), a smartphone application on Android and Apple iOS. There is a function of remote lock opening. The locks are connected to the HSU-BTGW gateway by Sub-1G protocol at a frequency of 433 MHz permitted for free use. One gateway can serve up to 32 locks at the same time..
HSU-BTGW gateway for electronic locks. It can serve up to 32 devices, such as electronic locks or access controllers. The unit connects to the server via Ethernet local area network. Locks and controllers are connected to the gateway via an energy-efficient Sub-1G radio channel at a frequency of 433 MHz, which can be officially used freely without the need to obtain radio control permits.
HSU-FK002-BT online (network) energy-saving switch. The device records all the events of turning on and off the light in the room in terms of time, card type (guest or staff), the name of a guest or an employee. It supports the option of remote control: turning the light on and off manually using the software. The switch connects to the server either via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and works as a gateway for the lock of the room in which it is installed. The basic purpose is to control the use of rooms in real time and according to reports.
HSU-HS lock programmer. This is a device for mass setting up and configuring the hotel ACS hardware. In this connection, we recommend purchasing this device for medium-sized and large hotels. It has an important function of issuing guest cards and codes for password locks offline in the event of a total server failure.
HSU-CE-BT card encoder (programmer) which is designed to issue guest and staff cards in the online system software. It connects to the server via Ethernet local area network.
HSU HTLock online hotel system software. It is installed on a local server in a hotel, which ensures system fault tolerance. Users of the system need only a standard browser of the operating system. Due to the fact that the hardware is connected to the server via TCP/IP protocol, and all connections are protected, the server can be installed on a virtual machine in any data center. However, we do not recommend this variant, since it may reduce the fault tolerance of such a sensitive system for the hospitality business as guest room locks. For small hotels, the server is presented in the form of a nettop computer, about the size of a book.
HSU-UPI PMS integration module. We support an online lock system controlled by HTLock in the new fifth version of the software focused on the integration with hotel management systems. The completely preserved API for communicating directly with the PMS provides an opportunity of integrating the online system with the PMSs that have been running earlier versions of the integration module using only ILMS. This means, for example, if you worked in version 4.1 with 1C Hotel, then in the new version you can work with 1C Hotel not only with offline locks, but also with online ones. This can be applied to all other PMSs, including products by Oracle Hospitality (Opera / Suite 8). Moreover, starting from version 5.0, we also support a hybrid mode of operation, when both an existing offline system based on ILMS and a new online one based on HTLock can work in a hotel at the same time. This mode is useful for hotels that are transferring locks to an online system without pausing the business. The locks in the hotel can be changed smoothly, not all at the same time, while the integration with the PMS is not broken during the system replacement.
